AusNet roadside surveys - June 2025

AusNet vegetation assessments roadside field survey week commencing 10 June 2025

AusNet will be conducting vegetation assessments on public roadsides across the proposed Western Renewables Link route over several days from week commencing 10 June 2025. There will be approximately 60 stops across seven local government areas including:

  • Northern Grampians Shire
  • Pyrenees Shire
  • Hepburn Shire
  • Ballarat City
  • Melton City
  • Moorabool Shire
  • Ararat Rural City

These vegetation assessments will help inform our project team about the impacts of the proposed Western Renewables Link transmission line on ecological communities.

This involves the team making a visual assessment from the roadside and will take up to 30 minutes per location to complete. Survey teams will not be entering private property as part of this work.

AusNet will send email and SMS notifications to neighbouring landholders where we have contact details. If you have land along the proposed route and want to register your contact details, please contact us via 1300 360 795 or info@westernrenewableslink.com.au.
