We are committed to supporting local communities and businesses throughout this project.
Businesses and suppliers
Local industry opportunities
Western Renewables Link is committed to creating opportunities for local businesses across the seven local government areas along the project route to participate in project delivery.
As part of the project’s commitment to supporting local communities, we have developed an online Business register and work packages application form. We encourage suppliers, subcontractors and service providers - particularly Traditional Owner businesses, regional suppliers, social enterprises and small and medium businesses - to register their interest and stay informed about upcoming opportunities. This includes those seeking to work on major infrastructure projects for the first time. All applications will be considered and are strictly confidential.
We also encourage local suppliers to regularly check our Procurement opportunities listing, which includes upcoming high‑value work packages. Businesses of all sizes, including local suppliers, are encouraged to consider opportunities that align with their capabilities. There will also be a range of other opportunities suited to different capabilities. Registering via the business register and work packages application form is the best way to stay informed and be considered for opportunities as they arise.
Procurement opportunities
WRL's procurement opportunities listing provides visibility of upcoming high-value work packages and indicative timeframes, helping businesses identify where opportunities may align with their services and capabilities.
We encourage participation from businesses of all sizes, including local suppliers, across both high‑value and lower‑value opportunities. As part of our commitment to supporting local economies across the five local government areas along the project, there will be a range of opportunities suited to different capabilities. Registering via the business register and work packages application form is the best way to stay informed and be considered for opportunities as they arise.
If you are interested in an opportunity below, please complete the business register and work packages application form. You will be required to provide a capability statement as part of your application, which will be used to assess your experience, capability, and capacity to deliver the works.
