Draft Planning Scheme Amendment

How can landholders and community members provide comment on the draft planning scheme amendment?

The draft Planning Scheme Amendment and Environment Effects Statement (EES) for the proposed Western Renewables Link are now available for viewing and public comment until 11.59pm on 22 August 2025.

This means the community now have a single, consolidated opportunity to make formal submissions about the Environment Effects Statement and/or the draft Planning Scheme Amendment. Only one submission is needed to address all of your views about the project, its effects and the relevant documents, including the Draft Planning Scheme Amendment.

View the draft Planning Scheme Amendment and EES documents and find out how to make a submission by visiting our Environment Effects Statement webpage.
