How do peoples' opinions of impacts affect the project outcomes?

Since late 2020, community engagement events and information sessions have been held, as well as direct engagement with landholders, to share project information and gather feedback and input.

Community and landholder feedback, together with technical studies, investigations and field work, have informed decision making as the area of interest was narrowed to multiple corridor options, the single corridor and then the proposed route.

The Environment Effects Statement (EES) technical studies consider landholder and community input, along with other information, in the assessment of the impacts of the proposed project.

You can view the information gathered from the community in 2020 and 2021 through social pinpoint mapping on the interactive project map.
